Rotating Services, LLC originated in 1999 in response to the need for turbine repair and maintenance on oil fields of the North Slope of Alaska. Over time we have established rigid inspection criteria that complement our Standard Operating Procedures and ensure customer satisfaction with safety, integrity, quality, and efficiency. Overtime, we have developed services in field maintenance, overhaul and refurbishment services and sales on industrial equipment and parts; including turbine power plants, pumps, generators, and compressors. We are also able to offer laser alignments, vibration equipment, predictive maintenance contracts, installation & commissioning. We specialize in emergency repair and service, and employee leasing for your in-house projects.

In 2008 Industrial Hoists, LLC was created to complement the services established in Rotating Services, LLC. Industrial Hoists provides new sales and service, field maintenance, installation, overhaul and refurbishment services and sales on industrial lifting equipment and parts; including hoists, gantries, motors, VRD drives, tuggers, lift scales, overhead cranes, stationary cranes and auto lifts.

Since 1999 Rotating Services has grown into sales, installation, and maintenance on small rotating equipment. The company does maintenance and sales on Department of Defense, State of Alaska, and Oil-Gas Process Facilities. The majority of our work is performed on air compressors, pumps, hoists, and winches. Our team excels in emergency repair and service.

In 2008, Industrial Hoists was created to complement the services established in this employer. Industrial Hoists provides new sales and service, field maintenance, installation, overhaul and refurbishment services and sales on industrial lifting equipment and parts; including hoists, gantries, motors, VRD drives, tuggers, lift scales, overhead cranes, stationary cranes and auto lifts.

Technical and Educational Qualifications

  • 2 years of education in trade school, preferably Mechanical. Motivated Engineers are also urged to apply
  • Competent Industrial Mechanic to include; knowledge of precision measuring, torqueing procedures, and knowledge of maintenance programs and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge in blue prints, tools, equipment, materials, methods, and standard practices for Industrial facility support. This Job will entail following Manufacturer/Government specifications and regulations to ensure mechanical and electrical equipment is safe and built to code.
  • An Understanding of mechanical system design in Pneumatics, Hydraulics and Fluids.
  • Accurately identify and assess customer needs.
  • Ability to own a project and execute from start to finish. Sales and Procurement, Customer Relations, Quality Service

Senior Valve Tech – North Slope

Responsibilities:

•Reports to the Mechanical Integrity Manager; responsible for day to day operation
of the Valve Repair Shop and completing all required documentation for valve
testing and repairs.
 
•Meets all regulatory requirements for testing, inspection, and repair of Pressure
Relief Valves in accordance with the National Board authorized “VR” Program for
Testing and Repair of Pressure Relief Valves. This includes verification of National
Board certified capacities for Pressure Relief Valves.
 
•Manage contract valve technicians, as required.
 
•Responsible for seeing that all equipment is maintained in calibration and a log of
all equipment is kept up-to-date.
 
•Maintains custody and is responsible for the use of the “VR” Symbol stamp.
 
•Responsible for materials control of all valves and parts and that installation is as
specified in the manufacturer’s drawings and documentation.
 
•Performs maintenance and repairs to process and control valves, including
wellhead valves, chokes, and trees. Working knowledge of machinist measurement
tools.
 
•Assists in job planning and scheduling to provide an effective valve test schedule
to ensure that PSV’s are serviced within their specific intervals.
 
•Interact with Inspections/Valve Shop Supervisor to assure compliance with all the
state and federal regulations concerning pressure relief valves, production,
wellhead, and control valves.
 
•Interact with production Foremen/Lead Operators to troubleshoot and reduce
costly downtime involved with valve maintenance and repair.
 
•Performs all other duties as assigned by Inspections Supervisor.
 
•Ability to be available 24 hours per day (on call for questions, emergencies, etc.).
 
•Maintains employee confidence and protects company assets, including
intellectual property by keeping information confidential.
 
•Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results, as needed.

Qualifications:

•Ten (10) years of industrial valve inspection and repair experience. Technical 2 or 4
year degree may substitute for experience on a year for year basis.
 
•Five (5) years industrial experience in mechanical maintenance and/or repair
related trade.
 

Education:

High school diploma or GED required.
 

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:

Documented Certificate of Training on the types of valves to be repaired (i.e.,
Spring, Pilot, etc.) from a relief valve manufacturer or the National Board or ability to
complete training within six (6) months of employment.

Mechanical Engineer

  • Evaluates mechanical and electromechanical systems and products by designing and conducting research programs; applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, heat transfer, and materials.
  • Confirms system and product capabilities by designing feasibility and testing methods; testing properties.
  • Develops mechanical and electromechanical products by studying customer requirements; researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials; soliciting observations from operators.
  • Develops manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for fabricating, building, assembling, and installing components.
  • Assures system and product quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and system capabilities; confirming fabrication, assembly, and installation processes.
  • Prepares product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
  • Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
